Voting is currently underway at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana, as 7,163 delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) elect the party's national officers. The election covers nine national executive positions, with various candidates vying for the top spots. For the National Chairperson position, there are four candidates: John Boadu, Sammy Crabbe, Paul Afoko, and Boakye Agyarko. The three candidates who receive the highest number of votes for the Vice-Chairpersons positions will become First, Second, and Third Vice-Chairpersons. There are 17 candidates contesting these positions.

The Ashanti Region has the largest delegation, with 1,122 delegates, followed by Greater Accra with 773 delegates, and the Eastern Region with 732 delegates. On the other hand, the Savannah Region has the smallest delegation, with 184 delegates. Before voting, delegates underwent verification and presented an approved identification document, including a Ghana Card, Voter ID card, or NPP party card.

In addition to electing national officers, delegates are also considering proposed amendments to the party's constitution as part of the National Delegates Congress. The congress began with the consideration of the proposed constitutional amendments, with voting for national officers scheduled to follow. This process aims to complete the final stage of the NPP's internal reorganisation.
