Northern-Savanna Crops & Tubers Ltd and Complete Farmer Ltd have formed a strategic partnership to cultivate and export over 500 acres of white sesame to international markets. Under the agreement, Northern-Savanna will provide tested, licensed, and serviced organic plots of varying sizes to growers and clients within Complete Farmer's agricultural ecosystem. Complete Farmer will contribute its market knowledge and expertise to strengthen production and sales structures, supporting larger orders and expanding market access. This partnership seeks to link farmers to high-value markets while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
Northern-Savanna, a woman-owned agricultural enterprise, operates an irrigation-fed farming model focused on regenerative and organic agriculture, agro-processing, food security, and community development. The company has secured around 10,000 acres of land in the Upper East Region for organic farming to supply both domestic and international markets. It is also undergoing certification and regulatory processes to establish a fully certified organic commercial operation.
The partnership is part of the companies' plans to develop agricultural value chains that connect production with processing, logistics, and export markets. Northern-Savanna has also entered into partnerships with international export and logistics organisations to establish an organic crop enclave in the Upper East Region in 2027. The proposed facility will include infrastructure for crop cultivation, sorting, cleaning, processing, packaging, warehousing, laboratory services, and customs processing. This enclave will facilitate direct bulk supplies to markets in Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Asia, and the Americas.
