The Navy has specified minimum height requirements of 1.69 meters for males and 1.65 meters for females. Applicants must also be medically, psychologically, and physically fit and have no previous criminal conviction.
For applicants with O’Level qualifications, the Navy requires candidates to be between 18 and 22 years as of December 31, 2026, and possess at least five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings. The guideline also provides age and qualification requirements for applicants with OND/NCE certificates, tradesmen, applicants in medical-related professions, and sportsmen and women.
Successful applicants are required to print their acknowledgement, parent or guardian consent, Local Government attestation, and guarantor’s certification forms after completing the online application.
