The Autorité de Régulation de la Commande Publique (ARCOP) has organized a five-day training workshop for regional directors in Niger's Tillabéri region. Maina Kartey Boukar, technical advisor to the ARCOP Director-General, noted that the training is part of ARCOP's efforts to strengthen the capacity of public procurement stakeholders. He mentioned that previous trainings had targeted delegated administrators, commune secretaries, and state control bodies. Boukar stressed that regional directors play a crucial role in consuming budgetary credits and satisfying population needs.
