The New Valley region's da'wa department held its monthly meeting at the Dakhla center to discuss various topics related to da'wa work and review the implementation of the da'wa plan. The meeting was attended by regional leaders, preachers, and administrators. Dr. Omar Abd al-Karim Ali, director general of the region's da'wa and religious media department, and Sheikh Mamdouh Ali Abd al-Ghani, director of da'wa at the Kharga center, were among the attendees.
The meeting reviewed instructions from the General Secretariat for Da'wa and Religious Media and discussed mechanisms for implementing them within the region's da'wa plan. The discussion also included a research paper on "Knowledge and Its Impact on Individuals and Society," assigned to Sheikh Salih Umar Hassan. This research aligns with the "Knowledge is Light" campaign launched by the Islamic Research Complex, emphasizing the importance of promoting awareness of knowledge's value.

Sheikh Omar Rashad Shayba, director of guidance in the region, provided guidance on the preacher's appearance, emphasizing the need to adhere to the image that reflects the dignity of Al-Azhar. He also stressed the importance of implementing the approved itinerary for preachers and directors and monitoring da'wa activities in the field.
The meeting also emphasized the activation of initiatives proposed by the Islamic Research Complex, implementation of training courses, da'wa convoys, and awareness campaigns. These efforts support da'wa work and enhance direct communication with citizens in various centers of the governorate.
