That event brought together professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and members of the Ghanaian diaspora. Discussions at the 2025 conference covered areas such as diaspora integration, investment opportunities, skills transfer, youth engagement, and stronger collaboration between Ghanaians abroad and Ghanaian institutions.
The Paris conference is based on the premise that Ghanaians in the diaspora possess knowledge, skills, experience, and resources that can significantly contribute to Ghana’s development. The event will create a platform for participants to share perspectives, identify opportunities, and develop policy proposals across various sectors of the economy.
Organizers are inviting Ghanaian professionals in the diaspora and other stakeholders interested in diaspora engagement and national development to participate in the conference. The 2025 edition established the DREC platform as a venue for discussions between diaspora professionals and development stakeholders.
