The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended its congratulations to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on the successful election of its new national executives. This election took place at the NPP's National Delegates Conference held in Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional capital, on Saturday, October 3. The newly elected executives will lead the NPP for the next four years.

The NPP elected several key national officers, including Mr. John Boadu as National Chairman, a position he previously held as General Secretary. Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua retained his position as General Secretary. Other elected executives include Mr. Kojo Fosu Boadu, Mr. Henry Nana Boakye, and Nana Akomea as National Vice Chairpersons; Mr. Alfred Kojo Thompson as National Treasurer; and Mr. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover as National Organiser.

Additional positions were filled with Mr. Abanga Yakubu Fuseini elected as National Youth Organiser, Ms. Mavis Hawa Koomson as National Women’s Organiser, Mr. Mohammed Ali Suraj as National Nasara Organiser, and Mr. Dennis Edward Miracles Aboagye acclaimed as Communications Director. These appointments are expected to shape the NPP's strategies and direction in the coming years.

The NDC's congratulatory message was conveyed through a statement signed and issued by Mr. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the NDC. In the statement, the NDC expressed its goodwill to the newly elected executives and voiced hope that their tenure would strengthen democratic governance and political cooperation in Ghana.
