The National Soccer Academy (NASA) has won the third edition of Moov Holidays Foot, a soccer tournament for U17 teams in Burkina Faso. The team defeated Cercle Sportif du Kadiogo (CSK) 2-0 in the final, which was held on September 26, 2026, at Saaba. The match was scoreless in the first half, but NASA accelerated in the second half, scoring two goals to take the lead. Despite CSK's efforts, they were unable to catch up, and NASA won the trophy.
The Moov Holidays Foot tournament was launched during the school holidays and brought together 16 U17 teams for nearly six weeks. Before the final, 31 matches had been played, with a total of 82 goals scored. The tournament was organized by Moov Africa Burkina, with the aim of providing young people with a healthy and constructive environment during the holidays and detecting future Burkinabé football talents.
According to Mohamed Karim, Managing Director of Moov Africa Burkina, the tournament had a double ambition. The first was to offer young people a safe and fun environment during the holidays, and the second was to serve as a springboard for detecting future talents. He expressed his hope that some of the young participants would evolve into different categories of national teams, from cadets to seniors.
Moov Africa Burkina's initiative went beyond the football tournament. The 2026 edition also included initiatives for the insertion and accompaniment of young people, such as the recruitment and training of 600 young people in marketing and sales professions. Mohamed Karim also announced the upcoming launch of Moov Rentrée, a program to support young people during the back-to-school season, with offers and scholarships for some students.
For National Soccer Academy, this victory crowns several weeks of work. The team's captain, Romaric Kafando, recalled that NASA had already participated in the competition the previous year, finishing in third place. He thanked Moov Africa Burkina for organizing the competition and expressed his joy at winning the trophy.
With this success, National Soccer Academy takes its revenge and wins the trophy of the third edition of Moov Holidays Foot. The tournament allowed several young players to compete in a competitive framework and get noticed. Moov Africa Burkina invested a total envelope of 2.5 million F CFA in the tournament, with NASA receiving 1 million F CFA, CSK 800,000 F CFA, and the third-placed team 500,000 F CFA.
The individual distinctions, including the best scorer and the best goalkeeper, were each awarded 100,000 F CFA. The victory of National Soccer Academy marks the end of the third edition of Moov Holidays Foot, which has contributed to the emergence of new talents in Burkinabé football. The tournament has also demonstrated Moov Africa Burkina's commitment to supporting young people in Burkina Faso.
