The tenth week of Ghana's Most Beautiful (GMB) 2026 came to a close with a spectacular One Africa night, where contestants represented different African countries. Bono Region's representative, Nana Konadu, stole the show and emerged as the Star Performer of the night. Her presentation took viewers on a journey to Côte d'Ivoire, exploring its rich history, culture, food, cocoa, and tourism.
The One Africa night was a celebration of Africa's diversity, with eight contestants representing various countries, including Cameroon, South Africa, Senegal, Kenya, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia, and Egypt. Each contestant's performance showcased the unique history, culture, traditions, food, music, and identity of their assigned country. This week's episode was a testament to the cultural connections that exist across the continent.
Nana Konadu's performance was a highlight of the night, as she told the story of Queen Abla Pokou and celebrated Côte d'Ivoire's football identity and the energy of Coupé-Décalé. Her presentation earned her the Star Performer award, solidifying her position in the competition. Other contestants also made a strong impression, with Ayinboma of the Upper East Region winning the Most Eloquent award for her presentation on Liberia.
Ayinboma's presentation explored Liberia's history, culture, and symbolism, highlighting its connections with Ghana and its place in the wider African story. Her eloquence and confidence on stage earned her the Most Eloquent award, a testament to her strong communication skills.
Arhinmaa of the Western Region won the Best Costume award for her stunning presentation on Egypt. Her performance journeyed through ancient Kemet, exploring the Nile, Cleopatra, Nubian culture, Khan el-Khalili, Siwa Oasis, and the White Desert. Her costume was a standout, showcasing Egypt's rich cultural heritage.
In addition to the Star Performer award, other contestants also received recognition for their outstanding performances. Greater Accra Region's Lamiley was named Kivo Woman of the Week, an award that recognises discipline, punctuality, leadership, respect for house rules, positive attitude, teamwork, and how well a contestant relates with others in the GMB house.
The One Africa night also saw the eviction of Besiwaa of the Central Region, who exited the competition after her scores placed her at the bottom of the standings. With seven contestants now remaining, GMB@20 continues to intensify as the contestants battle for the crown, cash, car, and bragging rights. The competition is heating up, and viewers can expect even more exciting performances in the coming weeks.
