The International Forum on African-Caribbean Leadership (IFAL) is a flagship event of the African Leadership Magazine. Convened annually on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly, the forum brings together heads of state, policymakers, investors, and private-sector leaders from Africa and the Caribbean. The goal is to strengthen trans-regional cooperation, trade, and investment between these regions.

Dr Mangudya's presentation follows a special address by H.E. Ahunna Eziakonwa, UN Under-Secretary-General and Special Adviser on Africa. It also precedes keynote remarks from Mr Admassu Tadesse, Group President and Managing Director of the Trade and Development Bank Group. Other notable participants include Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema and Daniel Asiedu, who will participate in a panel discussion.

The African Leadership Magazine has also announced winners for the 2025 African Business Leadership Awards (ABLA). Among the recipients are Mr Khulekani Mathe, who will receive the African Leadership Award for Excellence in Economic Policy & Private Sector Advocacy. Dr. Kelly Oluoch will be awarded the African Health & Institutional Development Leadership Excellence Award. Additionally, Mr. Mohamed Abdellahi Ould Yaha will be conferred with the African Leadership Excellence Award in Entrepreneurship and Industrial Development.

The Africa Energy Indaba 2025 is another significant event that will shape Africa's energy future.
