The Centre Régional d'Investissement (CRI) Fès-Meknès has announced a new call for projects to develop five tourism investment opportunities in the provinces of Boulemane, Taounate, and El Hajeb. This initiative aims to strengthen the region's attractiveness, promote productive investment, and emerge with structuring projects. The call for projects focuses on public land, with opportunities for tourist accommodation, ecotourism, and camping projects.

In the province of Boulemane, the call concerns the realization of a guesthouse in Tichoukt, on a collective land of one hectare in the commune of Enjil, as well as an ecomuseum with lodges, also on a collective land of one hectare, in the commune of El Orjane. These projects are expected to be designed taking into account the natural, cultural, and landscape specificities of the territories concerned.

The province of Taounate is also part of the initiative, with a proposed project for a 3-star tourist residence, "Village miniature," in Kissane, designed in the style of the traditional Jbala douar, on a communal land of 1.8 hectares. This project aims to promote tourism in the region while preserving its cultural heritage.

Two other opportunities are proposed in the province of El Hajeb, in the commune of Aït Ouikhalfen. These include a tourist camping site, from 4 stars, on a forest land of 2.7 hectares, and a guesthouse, from 4 stars, on a forest land of 2.4 hectares. These projects are expected to contribute to the development of tourism in the region.

The new call is open to companies, individuals, companies, or consortiums of companies with the required skills and a solid financial base, in accordance with the provisions of the specifications. Applicants are called upon to design and implement their projects in accordance with the urban planning provisions applicable to the concerned zones and the set requirements.

This operation is part of the dynamic initiated by the CRI Fès-Meknès since the beginning of the year, in terms of mobilization of land and promotion of new tourist investments in the provinces of the region, particularly in territories with significant natural and cultural potential. In July, the CRI had launched two calls for projects for the realization of seven tourist projects in the provinces of Boulemane, Taounate, Taza, and El Hajeb.

The CRI's initiatives aim to emerge a new generation of tourist infrastructures in the region, able to valorize local resources, stimulate the economy of territories, and generate sustainable job opportunities. The previous operations launched by the CRI have already led to the selection of six projects out of eleven proposed, representing a global investment of 124 million dirhams and the creation of 164 direct jobs.
