The 47th Asilah Cultural International Season will take place in Morocco from October 2-18, 2026. This year's autumn session, organized by the Asilah Forum Foundation, promises to be an exciting event with various discussions, meetings, and activities. The event will feature two main debates on current geopolitical issues: "Energy and Water Stakes in Africa and Strategic Projects: Towards a New Political Geography" on October 2-3, and "The Arab World in the Horizon of 2030: Challenges, Transformations, and Prospects" on October 10-11.
The Asilah Cultural Season will also include a tribute to Moroccan historian and art critic Toni Maraini, focusing on her relationship with the Moroccan art scene, on October 5-6. Another event will be dedicated to Tunisian writer Sadiq Asilah, titled "Hassouna El Mesbah: A Journey in Expressions and Places," on October 15. Additionally, the event will feature a creativity tent called "Mubarak Rabi' Asala, the Writer and Paths of Writing" on October 13.
The festival will also host the fourth poetry meeting, which includes a debate on "New Poets in the Arab World and Transforming Poetries from Multiple Forms to Intermedia" on October 16. Furthermore, the eighth edition of the Bland al-Haïdary Prize for Young Arab Poets will take place on October 17. The event will also feature various activities for children, including a workshop called "Child's Artistic Talents" and "Literary Expression and Writing for Children."
