Morocco's Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform has announced the launch of a new version of the national Idarati portal. This move is part of the country's ongoing digital transformation of public administration. The new version aims to provide users with a more accessible and streamlined experience, allowing them to access public services anywhere, anytime, and on any device.
The revamped portal reflects King Mohammed VI's vision of placing citizens and businesses at the center of public action. It promotes accessible administration and continuous improvements in the quality of public services. The new version incorporates data and artificial intelligence to help guide users, anticipate certain deadlines, and identify relevant services. This approach marks a shift toward a more proactive administration that seeks to better understand users' needs and journeys.
A central feature of the revamped platform is Idarati e-Services. This serves as a unified access point for digital services offered by government administrations and public institutions. The ministry is working to consolidate, verify, and update the portal's administrative service directory. This is being done in cooperation with relevant administrations and institutional stakeholders to provide citizens and businesses with reliable, up-to-date, and relevant information.
Idarati currently provides access to 874 online services and 2,533 published administrative procedures. These are organized around priority user journeys. The approach marks a gradual shift from individual administrative services toward integrated citizen journeys structured around users' needs and life events. The portal also features a "Give My Feedback" function, enabling users to share their experiences with online public services.
The feedback collected will support efforts to monitor users' needs and continuously improve the services offered to citizens and businesses. Digital accessibility is another key component of the redesign. The portal's navigation, search functions, and content organization have been reworked to facilitate simpler access for a wider range of users, with particular attention to people with disabilities.
The ministry highlighted the integration of an artificial intelligence solutions marketplace. This provides citizens, businesses, and public administrations with access to useful, secure, and trusted AI solutions. These tools are intended to progressively support users in navigating administrative procedures, assist with the processing of administrative information, and help public-sector employees in their work.
The new portal lays the groundwork for Idarati X.0, the next generation of a unified entry point to public administration. This future platform is expected to integrate the national digital wallet, digital identity, interoperability, and the "once-only" principle. According to the ministry, these foundations could enable more personalized and proactive administrative journeys, allowing authorities to anticipate certain needs and notify users of upcoming deadlines within a secure framework that respects users' rights.
