The Morocco FinTech Center (MFC) and Bank Of Africa have taken their partnership to the next level, launching a series of initiatives aimed at driving innovation and collaboration in the Fintech sector. The partnership, which was established in April 2026, aims to bridge the gap between the needs of the banking sector and the capabilities of the Fintech ecosystem. This move is expected to strengthen the relationship between the two parties and create new opportunities for growth.

The partnership is built around four key pillars, including a Fast-Track program designed to accelerate the transition from qualified Fintech opportunities to concrete experimentation. The program also includes access to a technological environment that allows selected Fintechs to test their use cases in a controlled setting. Additionally, an expertise and training offer will be made available to Fintechs accompanied by the MFC, through masterclasses, training sessions, workshops, and mentoring.

The Morocco FinTech Center has been positioned as the central catalyst for the Moroccan Fintech ecosystem, bringing together stakeholders, guiding project leaders, and accelerating sector development. The center was established in January 2025 by 15 founding members, including government agencies, financial sector regulators, and public and private financial institutions. It provides a common platform for Fintechs to facilitate interactions with actors in the Moroccan and international Fintech ecosystem.

The partnership between MFC and Bank Of Africa has already led to the first collaborations between the bank and three Fintechs accompanied by the MFC. These include Sahl Financial, which offers a solution for aggregating financial data and scoring based on AI, Daret, which provides a solution for digitalizing tontine and collective savings, and ProximaReg, which offers a RegTech solution based on AI.

The MFC's mission is to support the digitalization of financial services by creating an environment conducive to the development of Fintechs. The center provides a structured environment for accompaniment and collaboration, allowing Fintechs to benefit from expertise and resources. This initiative is expected to drive innovation and growth in the Moroccan Fintech sector.

The partnership between MFC and Bank Of Africa is a significant step towards promoting innovation and collaboration in the Fintech sector. The two parties aim to create a robust ecosystem that supports the development of Fintechs and meets the needs of the banking sector.
