Omar Moro, a prominent figure in the Moroccan party Rassemblement National des Independants (RNI), expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch for the government's decision to abolish the additional hour. Moro discussed the new investment charter, which marks a break from the logic of unclear advantages and establishes transparent criteria to ensure job creation and regional consensus across different regions of the kingdom. He also referred to the historic reform of the unified basic system for teaching staff, which had been stuck for decades, and the implementation of strategic projects in the fields of water and energy security.
Moro stated that any successful development or foundational project cannot benefit from a change in leadership midway, as this would require starting from scratch and wasting time and effort. He pointed out that the upcoming elections are a crucial juncture, given the close link between local development in cities and villages and the laws and budgets adopted in parliament.
Moro highlighted that the RNI party is committed to several priorities, including completing ongoing projects, implementing a new generation of integrated development, and creating productive and sustainable job opportunities. He also emphasized the importance of improving the quality of health and education services, reducing regional disparities, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and youth initiatives.
