The 4th annual meeting of the Moroccan Association of Private Sector Hematologists kicked off in Rabat, bringing together Moroccan and international doctors, professors, and researchers. Sadiya Zefad, president of the Moroccan Association of Private Sector Hematologists, emphasized that the conference aims to bring together specialists from public and private sectors to discuss blood disease diagnosis and treatment. Zefad highlighted the importance of such scientific gatherings in enhancing continuous training and experience sharing among doctors. This, she believes, will improve patient care in Morocco. Jallil Benani, general secretary of the association, pointed out the rapid evolution of hematology, both in diagnostic tools and treatment options. He stressed the need for ongoing training and staying updated on scientific developments to improve medical practice and patient care.

The conference program features multiple sessions, including presentations on the Moroccan Agency for Blood and Blood Derivatives' role and future plans. There is also a national reference on plasma cell lymphoma, focusing on diagnosis and patient care.
