The Popular Bank of Morocco and the Entrepreneurship Network of Morocco (REM) have signed a new agreement to strengthen their collaboration and support entrepreneurship in Morocco. The agreement aims to provide a comprehensive package of support for young entrepreneurs, combining expertise, mentoring, financing, and banking services. The partnership seeks to bridge the gap between entrepreneurial support and financing, promoting the emergence of new businesses and their growth.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Nezha Belkزيز, General Director of the Popular Bank of Morocco, and Idris Ben Ismail, General Manager of the bank's retail banking services. The partnership will enable entrepreneurs selected by REM to benefit from a tailored program that includes mentoring, business expertise, project structuring, financing, and suitable banking services. This program is designed to support entrepreneurs throughout the various stages of their business development.

As part of the "START" program, REM provides personalized support to entrepreneurs during the development and launch of their projects. This support includes mentoring by experienced entrepreneurs and access to honor loans. Meanwhile, the Popular Bank of Morocco will facilitate access to financing solutions and banking services tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs. The bank will leverage its integration with the Entrepreneurship Establishment, a subsidiary of the Popular Bank of Morocco.

Access to financing is a critical stage for young entrepreneurs, as it enables them to transition from an idea to a tangible project. The partnership between the Popular Bank of Morocco and REM reflects a shared commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs and promoting the growth of their businesses. By combining expertise, mentoring, and financing, the two institutions aim to create a more favorable environment for the emergence and development of new businesses.

Nezha Belkزيز emphasized that the partnership with REM renews the Popular Bank of Morocco's commitment to supporting entrepreneurs in the long term. She highlighted the bank's desire to provide a comprehensive system that supports the ambitions and growth of entrepreneurs. For her part, Wafaa Belmaachi, President of REM, noted that the partnership with the Popular Bank of Morocco reflects a shared ambition to strengthen support for young entrepreneurs.

The partnership between the Popular Bank of Morocco and REM goes beyond individual support for entrepreneurs, as it also aims to bring together the expertise of both institutions and promote collaboration with various components of the entrepreneurship ecosystem. This approach is part of efforts to promote financial inclusion, support the creation and growth of very small businesses, and contribute to building a more dynamic and sustainable Moroccan entrepreneurial fabric.

Through the combination of support, expertise, and financing, the Popular Bank of Morocco and REM continue to support young entrepreneurs and promote their ability to transform their ideas into productive projects that create jobs.
