Moov Africa Malitel, in collaboration with EDM-sa and KODICO, has launched a new service called 'Dèmè Isago', which provides customers with an advance of credit for electricity. The service was launched on September 29 at a hotel in Bamako. The 'Dèmè Isago' service allows eligible customers to borrow up to 10,000F to recharge their electricity counters. The 'Dèmè Isago' service has been in existence since 2023, with the first phase allowing customers to borrow up to 2,000F for electricity. The second phase increased the loan amount to 5,000F. With the new version, customers can now borrow up to 10,000F. The service is accessible through the My Moov application and the USSD code *166#. Adama Kouyaté, manager of KODICO, stated that his company plays a crucial role in linking EDM-sa's energy to mobile money payment solutions.

M'Baye Diaby, representative of EDM-sa, highlighted that the Isago prepaid meter, which has equipped over 700,000 subscribers, has significantly strengthened customers' autonomy in managing their energy consumption and budget. He explained that the new service allows eligible customers to request and obtain a credit advance for recharging their Isago counter directly from their mobile phone via the Moov Africa Malitel network.

Souaibou Coulibaly, Deputy Managing Director of Moov Africa Malitel, emphasized that the repayment of the credit is made with a 10% commission on the amount of aid granted. He described 'Dèmè Isago' as a useful innovation that brings mobile financial services closer to the real needs of populations. Coulibaly also stated that Moov Africa Malitel aims to make Moov Money a genuine daily companion for customers.

The launch of 'Dèmè Isago' is part of Moov Africa Malitel's efforts to provide innovative financial services to its customers. The service is available 24/7 and 7 days a week. The ceremony ended with the signing of a convention between Moov Africa Malitel, EDM-sa, and KODICO. This partnership aims to provide customers with easy access to electricity credit.

The 'Dèmè Isago' service is an example of Moov Africa Malitel's commitment to improving its services and meeting the needs of its customers. The service is expected to benefit a large number of customers who face difficulties in managing their energy consumption. With 'Dèmè Isago', Moov Africa Malitel is strengthening its position as a leading provider of mobile financial services in Mali.
