Black & Veatch served as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the project.
The EPC contractor completed the installation of solar racking piles, a generator step-up transformer and the collector substation before commissioning the facility. With construction now finished and ERCOT interconnection approved, the facility is set for final turnover to Mitsui's operations and maintenance organization. This move will bring the project toward commercial operation, enabling Mitsui to pursue wholesale power sales and direct supply to industrial customers.
