The Ministry of Interior (MININT) in Angola has announced that the first phase of psychotechnical tests for its public entrance exam will commence next week. The exam aims to recruit 7,682 citizens for various positions within the ministry. According to the schedule, the tests will run from October 26 to 30, conducted online and in a phased manner, organized alphabetically by candidate names.

The tests, set to last five consecutive days, will be conducted exclusively online. Candidates with surnames starting with letters A, B, and C will begin the process on October 26. The final day, October 30, is reserved for candidates with surnames starting with letters O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z. Each test has a maximum duration of 50 minutes, allowing candidates to view their results immediately after completion.

The tests are structured such that each minute corresponds to one question, and candidates can only proceed to the next question after answering the previous one. For further information, candidates can visit the MININT application portal at candidaturas.minint.ao. The organization has assured that results will be available right after the test, indicating whether a candidate has passed or failed.

Following this phase, the definitive list of admitted and excluded candidates will be published in November. Subsequent phases, including the electronic written test and publication of the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates, are scheduled for December. Further examination phases are planned from January to May 2027.

The final list of candidates admitted to fill the 7,682 vacancies is expected to be published in June 2027. The entire process is slated for completion by July 2027, with the submission of the final report to the Minister of Interior. This process has been lengthy, sparking anticipation among candidates.

The Ministry's decision to conduct tests online aims to streamline the process and enhance efficiency. With a large number of applicants, the phased approach helps manage the logistical challenges associated with such a massive recruitment drive. Candidates are advised to regularly check the portal for updates and instructions.

As the first phase of testing approaches, candidates are preparing for the critical psychotechnical evaluations. The Ministry's efforts to ensure transparency and accessibility through the online portal have been noted. With the timeline set, candidates and observers alike are keenly watching the progress of this significant recruitment endeavor.
