The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing insurance agents to achieve the company's sales and profitability targets. The Agency Manager will focus on agency expansion, performance management, training, and development, as well as retention of productive agents and delivery of exceptional customer service. Key duties include recruiting and onboarding qualified insurance agents, developing and implementing initiatives to build a strong agency network, and monitoring agency manpower levels. The manager will also drive premium income growth through the agency channel, support agents in identifying new business opportunities, and develop sales campaigns to enhance agency production.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Finance, or a related field, as well as a diploma or professional qualification in insurance. Functional skills required include integrity and professionalism, customer focus and service excellence, commercial acumen and business development, and emotional intelligence and stakeholder management. The Agency Manager will report to senior management and interact with various stakeholders, including existing and potential agents, regulators, business partners, and industry stakeholders.
