The President discussed the progress made in addressing the water crisis, particularly in Nouakchott, through the expansion of water projects. He announced plans to increase water production in the eastern region and explore new sources of water. The President also highlighted efforts to improve the electricity supply, including the acquisition of mobile transformers to quickly respond to outages and the formation of a committee to investigate the causes of a recent fire.
