He reviewed several projects to connect cities to the national road network, including the connection of N'Beiket Lahwach, Amourj, and other cities.
President El Ghazouani announced that work is underway to connect Mal, Monguel, and Barkéol to the national road network, while tendering processes have been launched for other sections. He also revealed that studies have been conducted to build roads linking Ouadane, Oualata, Tichitt, and other areas to the national road network. The President discussed the issue of connecting production areas, citing the completion of the Keur Macène – port de N'Diago road and the launch of a program to improve access to essential services.
The President addressed the specific concerns of Ouadane, assuring residents that the road construction will be included in the 2027 state budget. He also mentioned that efforts are being made to find a definitive solution to the city's water problem. An study on water research is currently being conducted by a foreign bureau, with funding from one of the city's residents, and is expected to be completed within three months.
President El Ghazouani emphasized his goal of changing the mentality that favors Nouakchott as the primary destination for healthcare, education, and employment. He encouraged the private sector to invest in tourism and economic activities in interior cities, stating that public investments in infrastructure and services should incentivize private investors to contribute to local development.
The President was accompanied by several ministers who presented reports on their respective sectors' achievements, projects, and future plans in Adrar wilaya. The ministers covered areas such as education, healthcare, energy, agriculture, and social services. The mayor of Ouadane, Mohamed Lemine Ould Ababa, welcomed the President and expressed the city's support for his development program.
