Mauritania celebrated its 66th anniversary of independence on September 22, with traditional festivities held in Koulikoro. Additionally, Sanogo reported satisfactory results in the education sector, with successful evaluations and increasing success rates in the region.
Sanogo expressed satisfaction with the region's development progress, citing achievements in healthcare coverage, hospital construction, and road development. The construction of the Koulikoro regional hospital, the Banankoro military hospital, and the Kangaba district hospital were specifically mentioned.
The Governor also highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the Dialakorodji to N'gnonsombougou road and the maintenance of national and communal roads. These projects aim to improve the region's connectivity and accessibility.
The celebration concluded with a civil and military parade, showcasing the region's defense and security forces. The event demonstrated the country's commitment to its independence and sovereignty.
