The Assistant Manager will also stay informed about the status, performance evaluation, opportunities, and issues related to online programs and initiatives.
The role requires strong social media skills, including content management and online reputation management. The Assistant Manager will facilitate social media engagement, update content in local digital channels, and respond to guest comments on social media. The role also involves participating in the development of a comprehensive PR plan, maintaining a list of local media contracts, and managing assigned accounts.
The Assistant Manager will assist with writing and distribution of press releases for property events, promotions, and outlets. The role involves supporting the execution of hotel-sponsored events, community/government relations activities, and press promotional activities. The Assistant Manager will also help manage external vendors and media agencies.
In terms of direct marketing and collateral development, the Assistant Manager will assist with coordination and execution of Hotel and F&B printed materials. The role involves controlling the quantity and inventory of all Hotel marketing collateral and verifying copies are filed in a comprehensive manner.
The Assistant Manager will assist in the development, coordination, and execution of all communications activities, including publication of the hotel's newsletter(s). The role involves supporting communications duties and functions as deemed necessary and acting as a marketing subject matter expert for GMs, Sales Leaders, and Managers.
To qualify for the role, candidates should have a 2-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related major, and 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or a related professional area.
