Additionally, on September 23, he will host a side event on "Next Steps" to address "From Commitments to Action on Reparatory Justice: Advancing International Cooperation for the Return and Restitution of Cultural Properties and Heritage."
During the main General Debate at the UN General Assembly on September 24, President Mahama will deliver Ghana's official statement. In addition to his speech and the two side events, the President will participate in meetings to strengthen partnerships, encourage investment, and engage with the diaspora. He will also meet with world leaders, the UN Secretary-General, and top executives of multinational companies.
To promote Ghana as a leading destination for business and investment, President Mahama will ring the NASDAQ Closing Bell and meet business leaders at a US-Ghana Presidential Roundtable organised by the US-Africa Chamber of Commerce.
