La Voie Express Group (LVE), a subsidiary of H&S Group, has signed an agreement with the Moroccan Agency for Logistics Development (AMDL) to acquire a 25,000m² plot in the Lqliâa Logistics Zone, south of Agadir. The group will develop a modern platform on this site, investing MAD 100 million and creating around 100 direct and indirect jobs. The platform will feature warehousing, order preparation, value-added services, transportation, and regional distribution.

The Lqliâa Logistics Zone is the first realization of AMDL's priority program, aiming to develop 750 hectares of logistics zones by 2028. The zone's first phase, spanning 45 hectares, has been developed with a public investment of MAD 350 million, offering dedicated plots for warehousing and a 200-truck parking facility. The zone is designed to handle up to 2 million tons of goods annually, serving the Souss-Massa region and southern Morocco.

The Agadir region is experiencing strong growth driven by agro-industry, fishing, trade, and distribution. However, it faces a shortage of modern logistics platforms. LVE Group's investment in Lqliâa aims to address this gap, providing an integrated logistics solution for regional industries, distributors, and retailers. The platform will enable the group to support the growth of regional businesses and contribute to better organization of logistics flows.

The project aligns with the national strategy for logistics development, led by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics and implemented by AMDL. The agency aims to develop 750 hectares of logistics zones by 2028, with nearly 500 hectares already under development. AMDL's efforts focus on providing private operators with accessible, developed land to encourage investment and modernization of supply chains.

LVE Group's investment in Agadir is part of its national network strategy, which includes platforms in Casablanca, Oujda, Nador, Tanger, and Khouribga. The group plans to continue developing its presence in major logistics zones across Morocco, close to consumption and production hubs. This project demonstrates LVE's commitment to contributing to Morocco's logistics transformation and supporting regional development.

Moncef Belkhayat, President of H&S Group, expressed pride in realizing this investment, highlighting Agadir's strategic importance in the national economy. He emphasized the group's commitment to launching construction soon and investing sustainably in Morocco's regions to build a national logistics network. Ghassane El Machrafi, Director General of AMDL, noted that Lqliâa's development will play a structuring role for the Souss-Massa region.

The investment by LVE Group confirms its commitment to actively contributing to Morocco's logistics transformation. The project illustrates the complementarity between public investment in infrastructure and private sector engagement, aiming to create a more efficient logistics system and promote balanced territorial development. Key points include: LVE's MAD 100 million investment in a new logistics platform, creation of 100 jobs, and enhancement of regional logistics capacity.
