LoanCred Fintech and Recoveries, operating as LoanCred Recoveries, has announced a job opening for an IT Technician with expertise in hardware and software. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical side of the company's in-house IT function, reporting directly to the Director. The role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals across LoanCred and client sites, including Loanco Financial Services.

The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of hands-on experience as an IT technician, with a diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Essential skills include solid working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, printers, and networking basics such as LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are also required, as the role involves regular travel between Lusaka sites.

The IT Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults, supporting staff with day-to-day issues, and setting up new users. Additionally, the role involves tracking IT assets, software licenses, and equipment, as well as liaising with suppliers on repairs, quotations, and replacements. The company offers a competitive salary ranging from ZMW 12,000 to ZMW 18,000 per month, depending on skill and capability.

To stand out as a candidate, one should be an exceptionally fast learner, able to figure out new technologies quickly. Having CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft credentials is a strong advantage. The company provides a monthly fuel and transport allowance, NAPSA and NHIMA contributions, and a direct reporting line to the Director.
