The Brega Oil Marketing Company has confirmed that it is continuing to supply fuel to various regions in Libya. The company's spokesperson, Ahmed Al-Maslat, stated that the fuel supply chain is operating smoothly, with companies being regularly supplied with available quantities from the company's warehouses. This has ensured a steady flow of fuel to different parts of the country.
According to Al-Maslat, the tanker "AEGEA" has docked at the Port of Tripoli after the tanker "Zandolie" left following the unloading of its cargo. The "AEGEA" tanker is currently unloading a cargo of 40.674 million liters. This development is part of the company's efforts to maintain a steady supply of fuel to the market.
In the eastern region, a new gasoline tanker has docked at the Port of Jelianah, further reinforcing the fuel supply chain. Al-Maslat emphasized that the southern region has received a significant quantity of fuel, with 2.620 million liters of gasoline and 2.490 million liters of diesel being supplied between September 26 and the present date.
The fuel supplies for the southern region were channeled through warehouses in Misrata, Tripoli, and Zawiya. Additionally, 3.250 million liters of gasoline were transferred via the Brega port as part of the 5 million liters allocated to the region. This has helped to alleviate fuel shortages and ensure a more stable supply.
Al-Maslat stressed that various regions in Libya are witnessing a regular supply of fuel to distribution companies, based on the company's logistical and operational capabilities. The Brega Oil Marketing Company plays a vital role in meeting the country's fuel needs, and its efforts have contributed to stabilizing the fuel market.
The spokesperson for the Brega Oil Marketing Company also highlighted the importance of the roles played by municipalities, law enforcement agencies, and the municipal guard in regulating the operations of fuel stations, controlling irregularities and violations, and combating fuel trafficking and smuggling. These efforts are crucial in ensuring that fuel reaches citizens in an organized and fair manner.
The Brega Oil Marketing Company's continued supply of fuel to various regions in Libya is a positive development, as it helps to maintain stability in the fuel market and meet the needs of citizens. The company's efforts, coupled with the support of relevant authorities, are essential in ensuring a fair and efficient distribution of fuel across the country.
