The Libyan National Meteorological Center has issued a forecast warning of unstable autumn weather over the next two days, with an increase in cloud cover and scattered rain showers expected in several northern and western regions. The areas likely to be affected include Ras Ajdir, Sirte, the Sahl Al-Jafara region, and Jebel Nefusa. Residents in these areas are advised to prepare for possible flash floods and overflowing streams.

According to the meteorological center, the regions of Ras Ajdir, Sirte, Sahl Al-Jafara, and Jebel Nefusa will experience an increase in cloud cover, particularly from tonight, with scattered rain showers expected, including in border areas with Tunisia. The forecast also includes the areas of Nalut to Gharyan, Tarhuna, Al-Araban, Mizda, Beni Walid, and some coastal regions. Daytime temperatures in these areas are expected to range between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius.

In the Gulf region and the Sahl Benghazi area up to Amsaad, the meteorological center predicts an increase in cloud cover at times during the evening, with scattered rain showers expected, particularly on Tuesday in some areas of the Gulf, Benghazi, and the Green Mountain. These showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms, with temperatures ranging from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius.

The regions of Al-Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames, and Al-Hamada are expected to experience an increase in cloud cover starting from tonight, with scattered rain showers possible, which may be heavy at times in Ghadames, Al-Hamada, and some border areas with Algeria. These showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms leading to flash floods and overflowing streams, with temperatures ranging from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, expected to drop tomorrow in Ghadames and Al-Hamada.

In the Al-Wahat, Al-Serir, Tazirbu, and Al-Kufra regions, the meteorological center forecasts the appearance of some high-level clouds, with light winds and maximum temperatures ranging from 29 to 33 degrees Celsius.

The general forecast indicates that the current weather conditions will persist with little change until the end of the week, with scattered rain showers expected at times in northern regions. The meteorological center has urged residents to follow weather updates, particularly in areas that may experience heavy rain, flash floods, and overflowing streams.

The center's forecast has raised concerns about the potential impact of the unstable weather on daily life and infrastructure in the affected regions. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and stay informed about the latest weather developments.
