A mechanic identified as Samson was killed in the Abijo area of Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, on September 15. When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed the incident. She noted that the family of the deceased victim reported to the police that his whereabouts were unknown. Following the receipt of the information, detectives reportedly swung into action and visited the victim's apartment.
Abimbola Adebisi added that efforts are ongoing to track Samson's mobile phone and locate him. However, it was later confirmed that Samson's life was lost in the incident. The case remains under investigation. The police have not released further details about the suspects or their motives.
