The Senate of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in Anyigba, Kogi State, has approved the 2025/2026 second-semester results. According to the university, 56 students were withdrawn from the institution. Eleven of these students were withdrawn due to poor academic performance. Thirty-eight students were withdrawn for failing to register for two consecutive semesters. Additionally, seven students from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science were withdrawn due to failed modules and course deficiencies. These actions were taken in accordance with the university's Academic Regulations.
The expelled student was from the Department of Plant Sciences and Biotechnology. The Senate's decision to expel the student followed the report of the examination misconduct committee. The committee's report was considered during the Senate's meeting. The university's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, commended the Results Verification Committee and the Examination Misconduct Committee for their diligence and objectivity.
Prof. Usman congratulated the 44 first-class graduands and urged them to uphold the values of integrity, hard work, and excellence. He also encouraged other students to take inspiration from the graduands and comply with academic regulations.
