The Minister of Employment and Labor, Ferdinand Massamba wa Massamba, announced on October 1 that the new INPP training center in Maluku, Kinshasa, is 100% complete and will be inaugurated soon by the Head of State. The center was financed by the World Bank and is part of the Kin-Elenda Project. It is located near the Maluku Special Economic Zone in the eastern suburbs of Kinshasa.

The center's construction has been completed, and the minister conducted an inspection to verify the progress. He stated that the visit aimed to ensure the effectiveness of the work before scheduling the inauguration. The minister was accompanied by several officials, including the Director-General of INPP, Godefroy-Stanislas Tshimanga Muntuabo, and the Principal Advisor to the Head of State on Employment, Labor, and Social Security.

The new INPP training center covers an area of 2 hectares and features three buildings. The first building houses administrative offices, laboratories, and practical training workshops. The second building is dedicated to theoretical teaching, while the third building provides accommodation, including a professional kitchen, modern restaurant, and equipped rooms for trainers and students.

The center is equipped with modern facilities, including a 5,000 kVA autonomous electrical generator and a potable water borehole. The minister stated that some minor adjustments, such as the arrangement of the reception area, need to be completed before the center can be officially opened. He estimated that this would take around two weeks.

The INPP training center offers 16 training programs, including information and communication technology, electricity, electronics, and sustainable development. The center aims to provide highly qualified local labor to meet the needs of the job market, particularly in the technological industries located in the Maluku Special Economic Zone.

The minister emphasized that the center's objective is to train a local workforce with the skills required by the industries in the region. The center also features an enterprise incubator and provides training in areas such as energy efficiency, biogas, and renewable energy.

The inauguration date has not been officially announced, but the minister stated that a follow-up visit will be conducted within two weeks to verify the installation of all equipment. Once completed, the center will be officially handed over to the INPP, and the training programs will begin.
