The East London Central Local Football Association (ELCLFA) season concluded at North End Stadium in KuGompo City with a Super Sunday football extravaganza. Kilimanjaro FC successfully defended their ELCLFA Premiership title with a 3-1 victory over table-toppers Umoja. This win made Kilimanjaro only the second club in ELCLFA history to secure consecutive premiership championships.

Kilimanjaro's win was a dramatic conclusion to the championship race, which had been led by Umoja for most of the campaign. Umoja had a five-point advantage with just two matches remaining but a shock 2-1 defeat against Young Lions on the penultimate matchday reopened the championship race. Kilimanjaro seized their opportunity with two quickfire first-half goals, effectively ending Umoja's resistance.

The goalscorers for Kilimanjaro were Somila Stofile, Thembelihle Adonisi, and Ramah Nzory. This victory also marked Kilimanjaro as only the third club to win more than one ELCLFA Premiership, joining Seagulls and Riverside. Both Umoja and Swaraj secured qualification spots to represent the ELCLFA in the 2027 Buffalo City Football Regional League Promotional Playoffs.

Swaraj ended a 25-year wait by lifting the fourth edition of the Peter Saville Memorial FA Cup. Their victory was inspired by a hat-trick from Damian Dick and goals from Divine Hewitt, Keanu Minnaar, and Deneo Manual. This win marked Swaraj's 13th ELCLFA senior premier silverware and their first since 2001.

The FA Cup success was a significant achievement for Swaraj, who finished fourth in the premiership and secured qualification for the 2027 BCFR Regional League Promotional Playoffs. Despite falling short in the final, Ellesse United U19 emerged as one of the competition's biggest revelations, eliminating premiership opposition Rangers and United on their remarkable journey to the final.

The future of ELCLFA football looks promising, with Future Boys and Ellesse United emerging as dominant forces in the junior League Cup competitions. Future Boys enjoyed a remarkable season, equalling the record established by Millan in 2022 after securing six ELCLFA junior championship titles in 2026. Ellesse United were equally impressive, featuring in all four junior League Cup finals and collecting two trophies.

The ELCLFA Junior League Cup finals saw Future Boys and Ellesse United excel in various age groups. Future Boys won the Moona Rama U13 League Cup and the James Alexander U11 League Cup, while Ellesse United won the Joe Hendricks Memorial U15 League Cup. The young players showcased their skills and potential, indicating a bright future for ELCLFA football.
