The footage begins with a man entering the shop and heading directly to the counter where the woman was standing. Her alertness and calm demeanor allowed her to devise a plan to trap the thief without direct confrontation. The shopkeeper, whose identity remains undisclosed, has been praised for her composure under pressure.
According to the CCTV footage, the man walked into the shop and approached the counter, prompting the woman to act swiftly and calmly. Rather than confronting him or calling for help, she quietly stepped aside, allowing the man to take her place at the counter. As the man began rifling through her cashier box, she used the distraction to stroll towards the exit, glancing back a few times, then slipped out of the shop. This strategic move ultimately led to the thief being trapped inside.
The woman's clever plan unfolded as she shut the door behind her and locked it, then pulled the outer door across and secured that too, trapping the thief inside. The man's composure crumbled almost instantly as he sprinted to the door and yanked at it repeatedly, but it would not budge. He then rushed to the window, which offered no escape either. The footage audibly captures him crying out for help, "Help me, I do not think she is coming back."
