Kegna Beverages Share Company (KBSC), founded in April 2017 by over 5,000 shareholders, operates a state-of-the-art brewery near Ginchi town, West Shewa Zone, Oromia National Regional State. The brewery has an installed capacity of 3 million HL, expandable to 6 million HL. The company produces high-quality beverages and plans to extend its portfolio to juices, carbonated water, and other categories in its second phase.

To ensure efficient distribution, KBSC has outlined specific qualification criteria for applicants. These include having a warehouse of at least 250 m², constructed of durable materials, and a fleet of trucks for collecting and delivering products. Applicants must also have a dedicated team of staff, including a Sales/Distribution Supervisor, Sales Representatives, Truck Drivers, and Loaders/unloaders & Warehouse Assistants.

Previous experience in distributing Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is considered an advantage, as is understanding of the local language and culture. Applicants must declare any potential conflicts of interest, particularly if any KBSC employee or their immediate family holds ownership or a financial interest in the applying company.

The application process requires submission of several documents, including a valid business license, VAT registration, and TIN certificate. Applicants must also provide a company profile, documentation of ownership or rental of trucks and warehouse facilities, and a letter of motivation outlining the distribution area of interest.

KBSC will conduct due diligence on shortlisted applicants, including verification of their warehouse, fleet, and office, as well as financial assessment and legal and tax compliance checks. Appointment conditions include executing KBSC's standard Distribution Agreement and providing a security instrument, such as an unconditional bank guarantee or cash deposit.

Interested and eligible applicants must submit their expression of interest, along with required documents, in person at Kegna Head Office, Elilly International Hotel, 13th Floor, before October 30, 2026. Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with the company name and purpose of submission.

The distributorship opportunity is open to all interested parties, and KBSC reserves the right to select applicants that best meet its business requirements. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via telephone to arrange facility visits.
