Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has highlighted his administration's initiatives to bolster community security in Faskari. During a visit to the palace of the District Head of Faskari, Sarkin Yamman Katsina, Radda disclosed that security outposts had been established in vulnerable communities. Assistance had also been extended to local security groups and victims of insecurity to enhance community protection. The governor's remarks were part of his Tinubu-Dikko 2027 campaign engagements with traditional rulers and community stakeholders.

According to Governor Radda, his administration had consistently supported security agencies, vigilantes, and community-based security groups over the past three years. He noted that these efforts had yielded positive results, with a significant reduction in insecurity across many communities. However, Radda acknowledged that some challenges persisted, assuring that his administration was working to address them. The governor expressed gratitude to traditional rulers for their prayers and support during his political journey.

The governor emphasized that his administration's development agenda encompassed security, social welfare, infrastructure, and grassroots participation. He mentioned that traditional institutions had received support through vehicles, allowances, and other interventions. Radda stressed that his administration remained committed to fairness and addressing the needs of various segments of society.

During his visit, Governor Radda recalled inspecting the Faskari General Hospital, interacting with healthcare workers, and visiting the local government offices. He sought continued prayers and support from traditional rulers and stakeholders in his capacity as Coordinator of the campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Radda also solicited support for the candidates of the Tinubu-Dikko campaign at the senatorial, federal constituency, and Faskari State Assembly levels.

The District Head of Faskari, Alhaji Tukur Sa'idu, Sarkin Yamman Katsina, expressed appreciation for Governor Radda's repeated visits and interventions, particularly in addressing security and development challenges. He disclosed that approximately 80 percent of requests submitted to the governor had been addressed. The traditional ruler commended the completion and commissioning of Faskari General Hospital, rehabilitation of the water facility, and improved water supply.

Alhaji Tukur Sa'idu also appreciated the Sheme-Zamfara border road and other road projects, alongside interventions in education, infrastructure, and community development. However, he appealed for the construction of the Faskari-Yankara-Dan Marke-Dogon Awo-Bilbis road and the establishment of a tertiary educational institution in the area. The traditional ruler further called for sustained security interventions, including continued support for the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and other community-based security arrangements.

The visit was attended by several dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, and members of the State Executive Council and Greater Katsina Campaign Council. The Chairman of Faskari Local Government, Hon.
