Kaduna State, under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, has adopted a multifaceted approach to development, extending beyond the traditional focus on road construction. The state has made significant investments in various sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, education, and water supply. A total of 1,450km of roads have been constructed across the state.

In the agricultural sector, the government has distributed over 900 trucks of fertilizer to farmers for the 2025 farming season. Additionally, 200 tractors, 500 power tillers, and 10,000 water pumps have been provided to support farmers. The administration has also supported 69,000 smallholder farmers under the Tallafin Noma programme and enrolled 100,000 in the 2025 wet season crop insurance scheme, valued at over ₦200 million.

The agricultural initiatives also include the establishment of a Farmer Field School in each senatorial zone, an Agricultural Intelligence Unit, and a Special Agro-Processing Zone in Chikun. Furthermore, an Agricultural Quality Assurance Centre has been set up with the support of Afreximbank. The state has adopted a Contract Farming Policy and finalized a 2025 to 2030 Agricultural Investment Plan to ensure sustainable growth in the sector.

In the healthcare sector, the government has remodelled, upgraded, and equipped general hospitals in various local government areas, including Maigana, Saminaka, Makarfi, Ikara, Giwa, Birnin Gwari, Rigasa, Kawo, Sabon Tasha, Limi, and Yusuf Dantsoho. Primary health care centres have been revitalized across the state, and the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority has opened a zonal office in Zaria to increase access to health insurance.

Education is another area where the administration has made significant strides. New junior and senior secondary schools are being constructed across the state, while existing classrooms are being rehabilitated and furnished. The government has also implemented scholarships for girls, digital literacy programmes, and life-skills training to enhance the quality of education.

The state government has also prioritized water supply, rehabilitating water works in Zaria, Kaduna North, and Kaduna South, with capacities ranging from 10 to 150 million litres per day. In rural areas, solar-powered boreholes are being installed at schools, clinics, and villages across various local government areas. Several local governments have attained open defecation-free plus status, reflecting the government's commitment to improving sanitation.

While there is still work ahead, the progress made so far in Kaduna State under Governor Uba Sani's administration is noteworthy. The government's efforts to spread development across sectors and zones, rather than concentrating it in one visible project, demonstrate a holistic approach to governance.
