The Jos Muslim Ummah Committee on Peace, Security and Stability (JOMUPSEC) recently organised a special prayer session at the Central Mosque in Jos, seeking Allah's intervention to restore peace and stability in Plateau State and Nigeria. The prayer session featured the collective recitation of the complete Qur'an, led by the Chief Imam of the Jos Central Mosque, Sheikh Ghazali Isma'ila Adam. The Chief Imam of the Jos Central Mosque, Sheikh Ghazali Isma'ila Adam, sought Allah's intervention in the affairs of Plateau State and Nigeria, praying for peace, unity, stability, and progress. He also prayed for an end to the hardship confronting the people, the safe release and return of all kidnapped victims, and the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming general elections. Furthermore, he prayed for wisdom, guidance, good health, and strength for the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, and all those in positions of authority.
The Deputy Chief Imam, Sheikh Nasir Alfalaki, commended the leadership of JOMUPSEC and participants for coming together to pray for the state and the nation.
