Similarly, a parent in Takur-site, Malam Umar Garba, and a guardian, Mrs. Fatima Ali of Gida Dubu Quarters in Dutse, appealed to the state government to intervene quickly, citing the need for the results for admission purposes.

When contacted, Jigawa State Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Isa Chamo, explained that the funds deposited by the Jigawa State Government to NECO had bounced back due to bank transaction issues.
According to Commissioner Chamo, the delay was not intentional, and immediate steps were taken to rectify the issue and reprocess the payment. He assured that everything had been settled, and NECO had confirmed receipt of the payment. The commissioner also stated that students would be able to check their results on the NECO portal from 6 pm on Tuesday.
