For three days in September, Abuja's Maha Event Centre was transformed into a luxury automotive playground, hosting the Jetour Experience Abuja 2026. The event, which took place from September 22 to 24, brought together automotive enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, and lifestyle aficionados. It featured a range of high-performance vehicles, music, art, drama, and entertainment, redefining how Nigerians engage with automobile brands. The event showcased Jetour's extensive range of models, including conventional petrol-powered vehicles, hybrids, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
The event's opening day was attended by popular Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe, also known as Odogwu Panrara, who made a surprise appearance, heightening excitement among guests. The vehicles on display included the X50, X70 Plus, X70 PHEV, X90 Plus, T2, T2 PHEV, Dashing, and G700, alongside the newly introduced T1 and F700. Test-drive sessions were particularly popular, allowing visitors to assess the vehicles' performance, comfort, technology, and driving dynamics.
During a panel session, Managing Director of New Era Auto-Vehicle Services, Kemi Koyejo, discussed the modern Nigerian motorist's increasing demand for vehicles that reflect individual needs and preferences. Koyejo explained Jetour's "Jet plus Tour" concept and its "Drive Your Future" philosophy, which embraces petrol, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains. This approach allows customers to choose vehicles that suit their lifestyle and preferences.
The event also provided an opportunity for Jetour's partners to highlight the brand's rapid expansion in Nigeria since its entry into the market three years ago. Executive Director of Elizade Nigeria Limited, Dr. Ademola Philip-Adewunmi, addressed concerns about after-sales support, noting that Jetour backs its vehicles with a five-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty. Structured trade-in programs and spare-parts availability provide additional reassurance to customers.
Safety and intelligent vehicle technology were prominent features at the event. Corps Commander Cherries Muta of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) commended the integration of modern driver-warning systems and proximity sensors into contemporary vehicles. This technology has the potential to support safer driving and reduce road incidents.
For Jetour, the event was an opportunity to reinforce its long-term commitment to the Nigerian market. Senior Manager for Africa, Perry Huo, expressed appreciation to Nigerian consumers and reaffirmed the company's commitment to expanding its presence in Nigeria and other African markets. The event achieved more than a conventional vehicle showcase, bringing together automotive technology, luxury, entertainment, art, and Nigerian culture.
The Jetour Experience Abuja 2026 gave prospective customers the opportunity to see, touch, test, and experience its growing model range. For Jetour, it was another statement of its ambition to build an automobile brand around not just what Nigerians drive, but how they experience mobility. The event successfully positioned Jetour as a brand that offers more than just vehicles, but a lifestyle experience.
