The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has restored its Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) after a temporary disruption. According to the board's weekly bulletin issued on Monday, the platform was restored on Sunday, September 27. The temporary disruption was caused by an administrative challenge involving its hosting organisation. JAMB worked with relevant service providers to restore and stabilise the platform.

Following the release of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination results by the National Examinations Council (NECO), JAMB urged public universities to intensify admissions.
