Yussif Issaka Jajah, has sponsored a free health screening and National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registration exercise for residents of the constituency. The exercise is a collaboration between the Office of the MP and various organisations, including the NHIS, Accra New Town Islamic Hospital, and the Farijah Foundation.
The free health screening offers a range of services, including NHIS registration and renewal, malaria testing and treatment, blood pressure and diabetes screening, Hepatitis B screening, eye screening, and provision of reading glasses. Dental screening and treatment are also available, and residents requiring further medical attention will be referred for additional care. The exercise is part of Hon. Yussif Issaka Jajah's efforts to support the health needs of his constituents and make basic healthcare services more accessible within Ayawaso North.
The first phase of the exercise took place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Accra New Town Islamic Hospital. The programme will continue on Saturday, September 26, at Western Video, and conclude on Saturday, October 3, at Alidu Park. Each session runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The initiative is fully sponsored by Hon. Yussif Issaka Jajah, demonstrating his commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of his constituents.
Hajia Farida Jajah, President and Founder of the Farijah Foundation and wife of the MP, has been actively involved in community activities and initiatives within the constituency.
