The third edition of BigTech Africa will take place on October 13-14, 2026, at the Cité de la Culture in Tunis. The event, organized by TPM Events under the patronage of the Ministry of Communication Technologies, will focus on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, industrial innovation, startups, investments, and technological cooperation. This platform aims to bring together 4,000 qualified participants, 100 experts, and 40 international investors from 20 countries.

The event will feature a range of themes, including sovereign AI, cybersecurity, African cloud, GovTech, FinTech, GreenTech, Industry 4.0, and the intersection of generative AI and industrial DeepTech. A thousand B2B meetings are planned, offering a unique opportunity for networking and collaboration. The Italian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ICE-Agenzia) will be present with a dedicated "Punto Italia" space, showcasing the country's innovation ecosystem.

The "Punto Italia" space will promote initiatives such as Labinnova, Terna Innovation Zone, and Innovatech, as well as the activities of Italian incubators and accelerators. The space will also host training sessions, networking events, and presentations of projects and skills from the Italian system. On October 14, a roundtable discussion titled "Italy as a bridge for Italy-Africa innovation: dialogue between institutions, business innovation, and startup ecosystems" will take place on the main stage.

The roundtable discussion will be moderated by Bernard Prevete, director of the ICE office in Tunis, and will feature speakers including Paolo Anselmo, president of the Italian Business Angels Network, Luigi Giorgi from Terna, Marco D'Angelo from InnovUp and beeco, Francesco Gavanna from Fintech District, and Viera Schioppetto from CIES. The discussion will focus on establishing partnerships between Italy and Africa in areas such as mentorship, investment, incubation, and skills transfer.
