The ISEM ALUMNI association, representing graduates of the Institut Supérieur d'Études Maritimes, recently participated in the Forum de la Mer 2026, held in El Jadida from October 1-4, 2026. As part of their engagement to promote maritime culture, ISEM ALUMNI launched a program aimed at raising awareness among young people about the importance of the sea and its related professions. This initiative built on their previous announcement to deploy La Classe Bleue, an educational project designed to introduce young people to the maritime world.

During the Forum, ISEM ALUMNI welcomed visitors to the Archipel des Enfants, where they were introduced to the diverse range of maritime professions and activities. The initiative was led by ISEM students, who acted as ambassadors for a new generation of maritime professionals. Through interactive exchanges, children discovered the various aspects of the maritime world, including ships, ports, and technologies, as well as the numerous career opportunities available. This approach reflected ISEM ALUMNI's goal of changing the way people perceive the maritime world.

ISEM ALUMNI also developed a special version of La Classe Bleue, tailored to primary school children. This program was designed as a discovery experience rather than a traditional lesson, allowing children to learn about the sea, ships, ports, and maritime professions through engaging activities and language suitable for their age group. The objective was to inspire and educate young people about the maritime world, fostering a deeper understanding of its significance and potential.

In addition to their activities at the Forum, ISEM ALUMNI organized several sessions of La Classe Bleue in local high schools in El Jadida. These events enabled the association to extend its outreach beyond the Forum's attendees and engage with a broader audience of young people and educational institutions. This experience confirmed the potential of La Classe Bleue as a valuable tool for promoting maritime awareness.

The ISEM ALUMNI association's efforts aim to promote a culture of maritime awareness in Morocco, starting from a young age. According to the association, a sustainable national maritime ambition requires a generation that understands the importance of the sea and can envision its future. By engaging with young people, ISEM ALUMNI seeks to inspire a new wave of interest in maritime professions and activities.

The Forum de la Mer 2026 provided a platform for ISEM ALUMNI to showcase its initiatives and engage with a wider audience. The association's participation in the Forum reflects its commitment to promoting maritime culture and education in Morocco. By working with young people, ISEM ALUMNI aims to contribute to the development of a more informed and engaged maritime community.

ISEM ALUMNI's activities at the Forum de la Mer 2026 demonstrate the association's dedication to promoting maritime awareness and education among Moroccan youth. Through interactive programs and workshops, ISEM ALUMNI is helping to inspire a new generation of maritime professionals and enthusiasts, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of Morocco's maritime sector.
