The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Resource Intermediaries Limited (RIL) Nigeria, Mr. Ademola Awonaike, has attributed the company's strength, stability, and footprint in the past 20 years to deliberate investment in its workforce. Established in 2006 with just three people, RIL Nigeria currently has over 20,000 people on its payroll, with clientele spread across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya. Awonaike made this statement at the company's 20th anniversary celebration in Lagos.

Awonaike highlighted that one of the greatest strengths of RIL Nigeria is its intentional investment in its people, including its management team, made up of competent, knowledgeable, and experienced professionals. This investment has yielded bountiful returns in the form of stability through change and confidence for the future. He emphasized that the company's people are its greatest asset, and their knowledge, creativity, professionalism, and commitment have been central to its success.

The company's vision is to be the first in outsourcing management, and Awonaike revealed that RIL Nigeria boasts very good welfare and staff packages that keep its staff with it. Some staff members have been with the company for 20 years, and clients have also been loyal, with some being with RIL Nigeria for 15 years. He described the anniversary's theme, "Future Forward: Beyond Outsourcing; Sustainable Growth," as strategic, saying it is more than a theme but a direction for the company.

Chairman of RIL Nigeria, Dr. Alex Okoh, said the anniversary theme is both timely and appropriate, recognizing that the business world is changing rapidly through technological advancements, artificial intelligence, and new ways of working. He emphasized that 20 years of experience gives RIL Nigeria a strong foundation, but it must remain determined to learn, adapt, and innovate. Okoh added that sustainable growth means building an organization that grows today and remains strong tomorrow.

He stated that when you build your people, they will build the business, and this approach has resulted in roughly 70 percent of RIL Nigeria's workforce remaining with the company since they joined.

Oyawoye further stated that the company is not fazed by competition, insisting that customers are the real competition. He emphasized that taking care of staff well is crucial, as they will then take care of customers. Special Guest of Honour and Group Managing Director, Sahara Power Group, Mr. Kola Adesina, said the best of RIL Nigeria should be in the future.
