Huawei has recently launched its new FreeBuds Neo earbuds in Mauritius, which aim to strike a balance between high-end and mid-range features. The earbuds are now available in Huawei stores and from authorized resellers at a price of Rs 5,999. Additionally, customers can opt for a 12-month interest-free payment plan, with monthly installments of Rs 500. The FreeBuds Neo boasts a compact and rounded design, making it a stylish accessory.
The earbuds' design and comfort have been well-received, with multiple ear tips available to fit different ear shapes. Users have reported that the earbuds stay securely in place, even during physical activities such as walking, jogging, or running. This makes them a great option for those who lead an active lifestyle. The earbuds' compact design and secure fit have earned them high marks.
The FreeBuds Neo features wireless connectivity, including Bluetooth 6.0 and multipoint connectivity with multiple devices. The earbuds also come with several presets and active noise cancellation (ANC). While the ANC is not exceptional, it is satisfactory, although it may struggle in extremely noisy environments. However, the earbuds deliver high-quality sound, consistent with Huawei's signature sound.
The FreeBuds Neo also features the LDAC high-resolution codec, which provides detailed sound for lossless music. Users can further customize their experience by downloading the Huawei Audio Connect app, which offers additional features such as adaptive audio. This feature automatically adjusts the volume and switches to awareness mode when someone is speaking.
Another notable feature of the FreeBuds Neo is its battery life. The earbuds promise up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge without ANC and around 6.5 hours with ANC. With the charging case, the earbuds can last up to 40 hours, making them a great option for long trips or extended use.
The FreeBuds Neo also offers improved sound quality for calls and video calls. The earbuds' performance and features make them an attractive option for those seeking affordable, high-quality earbuds. With their compact design, long battery life, and impressive sound quality, the FreeBuds Neo is worth considering.
