Health facilities construction delayed due to access challenges in Uganda.

The construction of two health facilities in Mitooma District was initially expected to be completed within six months, but the implementation period was later extended to 12 months. Construction works at Bitereko Health Centre III and Kigyende Health Centre III were disrupted due to access challenges.

Construction will resume once a bridge is restored to provide access to the construction site, with UPDF engineers planning to restart work next week after assessing the facilities.
