The Regional Delegation for Women's Affairs, Family, Childhood, and Elderly People in Ben Arous, in collaboration with the Regional Health Administration and the National Family and Human Habitat Observatory, organized a health and psychological caravan for children at the Marnak children's club. The caravan aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preventing drug risks and digital addiction.
The caravan, which was held under the slogan "Your health first," targeted around 30 children aged between 10 and 16 years old. The team in charge of the caravan provided a participatory approach that included various activities such as recreational games, psychological therapy, dialogue sessions, and mental and physical health interventions.
According to the head of the Women's and Family Affairs department at the Regional Delegation for Women's Affairs, Family, and Childhood in Ben Arous, Jouhar Melad, the caravan was a response to the Ministry's call to organize psychological and health caravans for young people and teenagers to raise awareness about drug risks.
The caravan is part of the first phase of the communication program for networked prevention of drug risks. The Ministry of Women's Affairs and Family had called on its regional administrations to organize caravans in all regions of the country to support families in early prevention of drug addiction.
The caravans aim to listen to and provide health and psychological support to young people and families, and to help parents identify behavioral and psychological changes in their children. The caravans also provide a space for psychological listening, support, and guidance, and bring preventive services closer to people.
