Covenant Farms will separately sponsor the winner of the National Best Poultry Farmer category to a similar seven-day technical and benchmarking trip to Italy.
The Ministry of Food and Agriculture has already completed negotiations with the Embassy of Italy to smooth travel arrangements for the winners in both categories. The Ministry has thanked the two private sponsors for backing this year's celebration. The scale of this year's award marks a sharp jump from recent prize levels.
